hey can anyone help me i'm on forsaken fortress i need to beat the bokoblin at the first light staion i keep getting hit and losing the weapon

dude ik that i cant beat the stupid bokoblin with my shield :[ and every time i make him drop his sword i do a roll not grab it

Can you pick it up though? If you target him while holding it and throw it at him, it should kill him
