Initially, I felt Greninja was a ridiculous shoehorned character addition, but I'm warming up to the concept of him being playable. Hopefully everyone online won't use him like they do in X/Y though.

    That seems to be a theme from the roster selections this time around. A lot of people hated the idea of Wii Fit Trainer and Rosalina at first, but now they've got a good following.

    I agree. Granted, I would have liked to see another Pokemon Trainer instead, but he seems like a very unique character. He fits in well with the other newcomers.

    I immediately was freaking out. I know he'll at least be a semi-main of mine. It was the best way to put in a Pokémon newcomer. Eat your heart out, Blaziken!

    I think five characters is the series cap. Given that Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon are Nintendo's big three and Ganondorf and Jigglypuffs veteran status, they're gonna be in for sure. With some buffs.

    Jake, believe it or not, that's exactly what I think of Greninja's reveal. However, I would've preferred some other water starter like Swampert or Feraligator and then have Chesnaught rep. for 6th gen

    Then there would be a Fire, Water, and Grass starter to rep. for pokemon. But what ever, I'm still cool with it. But when I was watching the Charizard and Greninja trailer, I thought it was Ness.
