The last shovel of soil has been laid over the time capsule buried underneath the Cairn, an ambitious sculpture its project lead hopes will be her longest-lasting monument.

"Most time capsules are lost or abandoned," says Andrea Schumacher, the Cairn's lead architect. "The Cairn has been inscribed with pictograms developed by anthropologists and semioticians"
