Since the reapers have never upgraded themselves I wonder why the leviathan don't just build machines better than the reapers & are controlled by their minds instead of giving them AI so they don't

    It seems clear that the leviathans are stronger then the reapers and can turn them against each other but since the reapers outnumber them it seems like a difficult task to complete.

    The reapers upgrade in a way, every time they destroy the top species they keep thier "knowledge" and a new reaper is created.

    They build but nothing changes about them.Same weapons,features,no one reaper ship stands out accept for Harbinger.They be different on the inside but they are the same on the outside.

    An individual leviathan can stop an individual reaper but the reapers are more capable of waging galactic war. As a whole they are far more powerful than the leviathan.

    The leviathan were wiped out by the catalyst's army before Harbinger was even created. They wouldn't stand a chance against the reaper's forces which is why they continue to hide.
