Impressions

I don't see why this game gets so much hate. The music isn't as good as the NES Version, but it's still solid, fun, classic Mega Man. If anything, it's a bit easy.

    I can live with the bad music, but the sloppy controls, slow firing and REALLY cheap enemies are my main gripes.

    I haven't noticed any problems with the controls, and the firing seems normal to me. I've seen a cheap enemy or two, but nothing that ruins the game. And the Metal Blade is a great equalizer for them.

    It made a bad impression on me at first, just with the music. Then, I turned the volume down and just played it listening to my own music. With that change, it just felt like classic Mega Man again.

    That said, music notwithstanding, the only thing I didn't like about this game was upon playing it for the very first time, I beat it in less than a half hour. Oh well.

    Just beat it, 2 main gripes. 1) After the initial 4 bosses, your weapons no longer refill after bosses and you have to farm for ammo. Not really a big deal, because...

    2) I didn't even use half of the weapons. Top Spin was lame, used it exactly once. Same with Hard Knuckle, and the pogo stick was useless. Didn't use Needles at all. Metal Blade kills almost anything.

    I enjoyed it, but it was too easy for a Mega Man game, especially compared to Wily's Revenge. Also, why was Wily so small in the final battle, lol?
