In the game, you acquire your own shop(at first u just work there), and can at some point compete in fashion contests(you are the stylist), making your way to the top of the fashion world.

You do not design clothing, u stock up on it a the Buyers Center for your shop.(u receive a copy 4 your own closet) At your shop, you put together outfits for your customers, using what's in stock.

As for a BFF, not really, you're friends with everyone, and can even hang out/go places with them at times. Most of the time you are invited to go places with your customers.

And as for dating, not really, although you can go on a date with the delivery guy on the 4th of July. You can also go places with some of the games' guys, although not technically a date. However, >>

The Japanese version of the game has received an update adding the 'Dream Boyfriend' feature, which takes place in your avatar's dreams. If u want more info on it, look it up. Hope it comes to the US.

Oh! And your avatar is very customizable. Early in-game you decide how she'll look. At some point in the game, a hair salon will open, letting you change her hair when you feel like it.

You can also have your avatar buy and wear make-up(a make-up studio will open), and change her outfit with whatever u have in your closet. Hope this helps if u have anymore questions, I'll try 2 help.
