So I'm gonna go on the record and state that If that lame Snake returns In Smash 4 I will be buying this game used because I can't respect Nintendo for that... Plus I just really dislike Konami and everything the metal gear series stands for as a whole. Sorry but I can't support anything tied to that fake movie wannabe videogame.

    Hmm, okay. I have a feeling that this post will be deleted, but I have to state my opinion. I don't believe that it's right to judge an entire game, no, entire franchise's value on a single character. Indeed MGS isn't for everyone, (I myself have never played an MGS), but SSB will a fun game, whether or not Snake returns. Please don't let a single character ruin your outlook on a good game.

    I wouldn't not buy the game, but I would be disappointed in Nintendo for constantly letting third parties take advantage of them without ever receiving anything in return. If Snake appears in the game it better be because Konami's bringing a major Metal Gear game to the Wii U! I wouldn't mind that at all. It's not my favorite franchise but it is a historic and beloved one. :/

    Konami are greedy!! seriously, they won't make a MGS game for Wii U but want Snake to be in SSB. There are lots of third party characters that deserve the spot more than him!

    i liked Snake as a fighter in Brawl, but i agree that he doesn't deserve a spot in the new Smash. but i guess im good either way.

    I'd like to see more third-party characters in SSB, but mainly if they had significant Nintendo-related history. Mega Man started on NES and had several dozen games across Nintendo consoles. Sega was once Nintendo's nemesis, so Sonic vs Mario makes sense. While Nintendo has hosted some Metal Gear games, those ones are insignificant compared to the Sony games. Snake in SSB never made sense.
