    online multiplayer would have been frustrating. Other players dropping out. Not sure if you played Luigi's Mansion DM, but there were frequent disconnects in the Scarescraper mode.

    The difference is that a Comp could've replace a dropped player in Mario Party. They could've made online play possible if they put enough thought into it.
