I was hoping the same thing. I bought two copies so my wife and I could play while I was deployed but now I have to return one. We need more online MP games for the 3DS!

It does, just not online. Your friends don't even need to own it, you just need one copy for Download Play!

This game wasnt developed by Hudson. The new development team doesnt seem to have much experience. I bet Hudson would have put online play in this game
