    The problem is with the AV Out cable. Lots of 64s had the same problem after about seven to ten years or so of use... at least the ones that got unplugged and plugged back in a lot did (like mine)

    hm, never had that problem! But my 3DS has to have the l + r buttons blown every couple of minutes. ;o;
