    either, better to run to save pp. 40 chain is optimum when shiny rate levels out. different pokemo can be encountered during chain. hope this helps ;) 3 fishing shinies so far!

    You can either run or battle, but if it’s not a shiny you shouldn’t catch them, cause it’ll break your chain!

    I forgot to say this in my last post, but you have to K.O. them because it's no different from keeping your chain when using the pokéradar.
