i think x and y should of added more daily trainer battles, especially if it had similar towers comparing to black tower/white forest places in b2/w2... ppl would train pokemon to level 100 more often

    the rival battle wasnt enough... plus, battle chateau requires a ton of cash to strengthen the levels of trainers, although they hardly rotate every few hours to me...

    It does sorta, Battle Chateau, if you call it a daily thing. Trainers swap out on the hour. However it only becomes good training once you become Grand Master Rank, though it pays really well...

    It seemed like the rival wasn't as strong too. I remember having to turn of my ds or gb just to try again to beat my rival but in Y I don't remember restarting ever.

    Grand Master is when the champ wants to battle with you at Battle Chateau, I don't know exactly how many victories are required though.
