I understand the time constraints you're having with this game's development, but I hope you consider things like costumes and maybe even characters as DLC. That would be amazing and is very practical

  • NO DLC

  • YES DLC.

  • Why not?! Nintendo is in a time crunch and DLC would allow them to put everything in the game that they intended to include. I really don't see the issue.

  • I hope a few months after release they should start making DLC, as long as they don't release an incomplete game, which I know Sakurai would not do.

  • 3 words. NOT ENOUGH MONEY

    Yeahs0
  • I'd rather they take their time and finish the game's development. Last thing we need is an unfinished game and having to pay to finish it.

    Yeahs0
  • I'm not against DLC. I just want the game to have complete effort on release and DLC not come up until the game is released.

    Yeahs0
  • Cameron: that sounds like a personal problem. They wouldn't charge and arm and a leg for DLC. That's never been Nintendo's style.

    Yeahs0
  • Do YOU want to pay $60 for an incomplete game and have to pay several smaller fees just to complete it?

    Yeahs0
  • I don't want the game to be incomplete either, and it will be solid. I just don't want them to release the game and abandon it like with Brawl. Brawl had a ton of content but ---

    Yeahs0
  • Was in massive need of improvement and so many enjoyable things could have been added to it via DLC.

    Yeahs0
  • That's why they shouldn't bother with DLC for a while, a few months at least.

    Yeahs0
  • Like I said, Nintendo has NEVER operated that way. Nintendo in NOT EA and Nintendo is NOT Capcom!

    Yeahs0
  • Fact of the matter is, the way things are right now, we are getting a smaller roster due to deadlines. So that means the overall content of the game may be lacking as well.

    Yeahs0
  • I understand that you want Nintendo to keep supporting it after launch. We do, too. But we want Nintendo to get as much done before launch as possiblle before considering DLC.

    Yeahs0
  • I understand and I agree 100%. I'm not saying they should just release an incomplete game and make us pay for the rest.

    Yeahs0
  • Here's the thing, though: if Nintendo decided to design the game with DLC in mind, it MIGHT, not will, condition them into functioning like other major companies.

    Yeahs0
  • I'd rather wait until the game is on store shelves before they even THINK about DLC of any sort.
