Day 31 of my conceptual movesets. Today, Cranky Kong awakens! This old ape still has the right stuff and he's out to prove it! Check it out and leave an opinion, a request, or your own idea.

  • Cranky has just above medium stats in all areas but jumping, in which he is sorely lacking. He relies heavily upon his animal friends, but his vast experience allows him a unique stance-based style.

  • Neutral Special: Cranky's rocking chair appears beneath him out of nowhere and he falls asleep. While asleep, his specials change. Neutral wakes him up quickly, side B throws a bouncing spring...

  • Neutral Special (continued): ...up B has him chuck a few DK coins straight up for a short distance, and down B causes him to snore, which hilariously does nothing.

  • Side Special: Cranky boards Rambi, who runs in the indicated direction and changes his specials as long as he's on. Neutral causes him to turn around, side to make him charge, and down to get off.

  • Up Special: Squawks appears and Cranky grabs on, with his specials changing as long as he's on or for three seconds. Moving around lets him fly slowly, neutral to shoot coconuts, and down to let go.

  • Down Special: Cranky dons a white lab coat and pulls out a potion, which he shakes with surprising vigor, charging this attack. When the button is released, he tosses it in an arc, which explodes.

  • Final Smash: Cranky once again reclines in his rocking chair and text appears on the screen. He complains about a random, fourth-wall-breaking subject and then 'resets' the game, causing the...
