    i'am having a great time with this game, i think its just frustrating until you master the moves, then its a piece of cake

    I honestly can't see why anyone has problems with the controls. its not like a batman or assassin's creed game with overlapping controls and janky menus, just single actions mapped to single buttons.

    And the movement is so much smoother than unleashed or colors. It feels like i actually CONTROL Sonic. the wisps are awful though. just thrown in to make use of the touch screen and motion sensor.

    That said its not for everyone. It's my favorite post 2001 Sonic to date but i can see why it gets so much hate. I still haven't played generations.

    It's not a practicing issue. The controls are amazing. I just hate games that you have to die 5 times to see what to do. I've played Sonic for 20 years. Just wish levels were like the 1st.

    I didn't have to get gme overs to figure out level gimmicks. Most were straightforward to me.

    knowing what to do and how to do it the first time without dying wouldn't make the game extremely easy?

    Yeah I agree. The controls aren't really bad, it's just that the level design kinda sucks as you go on.
