    I have already tried to improve my score, but I haven't had any success. The CPU kept getting in my way when I had the potential to beat my record.

    Yes. That does get annoying. What I do is set it to 1 CPU and to Hard. On Master, They Get in your way Near the Start. Easy Gets in your Way Near the End since they are behind a whole Lap.

    I had 1 CPU set to Normal and they get in my way near the end. I'll try Hard and see how I do. Not getting bumped at the start would most likely be the challenge.

    Yes. The Start is the Only Real Problem, once you pass the First Curve ahead of the opponent, it is better. :)
