    Yeah, but I always feel there should be some kind of electronic component mixed in at least. Maybe it's just Sonic CD nostalgia kicking in. Stardust Speedway FTW!

    Ya, the US soundtrack got slammed by some game mags at the time, but I sincerely feel it was superior in almost every way. I'll take "Sonic Boom" over "Toot Toot Sonic Warrior"(!?!) any day.

    It's catchy I'll admit, it's just English lyrics written by japanese devs often ha a "what the??" quality to them. Like, what does "toot toot sonic warrior" even mean? Is he a train or did he fart?

    Also the US soundtrack had more atmosphere. To my ear the JP version sounds like all techno all the time, it can be tiring after a while. But it's better than much of what came later.
