how do you turn off the wiiu game pad without turning off the wiiu cuz i wanna play darksiders with the new pro controller but i dont want my game pad to waste battery and i dont wanna have it on

    Take it to a different room so it cannot get a signal. That is the only way I have found.

    Or you could charge the gamepad and not use it while you play with the pro controller
