    Try spin kicking it. After that, homing attack it a bunch, and it should stop for a bit. You'll need to use it as a platform in one area with a worm mid-boss.

    Yeah, it takes a LOT of homing attacks on it. Because of that thing, I wasn't even half-way through the level and I ONLY HAD SEVEN MINUTES LEFT.
