    If it's hard for you to dodge the drill bit use spindash for getting to the other side faster. Also, Super Sonic and a big 50 ring/lightning shield will make the boss easier.

    You need 5 lock-ons to start an attack. After you do the attack that slows you down just before you attack, charge the homing attack before using it.

    When he throws the giant bomb, stay on the other side after the explosion, because a temporary black hole pops up where the explosion hit that will instant kill even Super Sonic.
