It would be laughably easy to make a moveset for Mii! Up B: Spin up into the air. Side B: Baseball bat from Wii Sports. Down B: Golf club. Special B: Baseball. And regular moves would be punches, etc.

@Emile: Dr. Mario was in Melee. Pichu was in Melee. Young Link was in Melee. They could have all been replaced by a better character with more potential, wouldn't you agree? And I meant before Brawl.
Not really. Melee was done in only 9 months and they ran out of time. It was either 6 clones or one more characters. So they decided to make the clones.
I meant if they took more time on the game, they could have come up with a much better roster. And that wasn't my point, my point was that just because a character's in, it doesn't mean they're good.
Again, as said in my original comment, explain to me how Wii Fit Trainer would be better than Rosalina, Little Mac, Bowser Junior, etc. And these characters definitely deserve a spot.

Not better than Little Mac. But Wii Fit trainer is unexpected and it shows Sakurai creativity. Plus she is not a minor character from an already overepresented series *cough* Rosalina *cough*
She's not better, Sakurai put her in to broaden the Smash Bros fanbase and to be creative with the roster, and to add characters to represent all parts of Nintendo's history,
I'll admit, Rosalina was kinda out of there, but expected. And Wademan, I understand that Sakurai was trying to be creative, I'm just saying that Wii Fit Trainer feels like an odd addition.
That's the point, Sakurai stated that he gets requests for Nintendo characters all around the world, and no one expected her, just like no one expected Pit in Brawl
pit came from a franchise that people remember. same with ice climbers, and ness. they never had 3D representations, and when they did, they were great. now ness is a really popular character.
But Pit was a classic game character, and made sense. What doesn't make sense is adding a trainer from a game designed for exercise to a fighting game. It just seems... weird!
@kayin the thing about bowser junior is the mario franchise is already heavily over represented like [emile said] and the problem with little mac is creating a moveset
little mac's moveset certainly seems easier to create than the wii fit trainer's. she is not even a fighter, and she's in a fighting game! little mac makes sense.
And besides, I'm pretty sure Wii Fit Trainer and Villager are the only two characters from non-fighting/adventure games. But villager is part of a kind of classic series, isn't he?
@hunter you are correct. but like i said, they became popular when they were put into smash. did r.o.b become as popular when he was put into smash? no.
im not saying you couldnt make moves for little mac but in ths smash bros series carachters have only used moves from their games little mac has only ever punched his opponents
Is Bowser jr a fighter? Is villager a fighter? Is rosalina a fighter? Is R.O.B. a fighter? Is Captain Falcon a fighter? (Emile, your racer argument entirely destroyed right there)
@Emile: I forgot about Captain Falcon... but he's at least a good fighter. The Wii Fit Trainer uses exercises to fight. That isn't strange at all... *sarcasm implied here in case you didn't get it*
@kleo but those wouldnt really make sense i mean sure lucas did that making it a possiblility but those were iconic moves used by other playable characters
@Dalumu: I personally think Bowser Junior would be an excellent fighter in the roster. He could have a moveset based around the magic paintbrush, and he could transform into Shadow Mario.
Little Mac is long overdue for Smash, and he wouldn't need projectiles in his moveset. It could be similar to that of Captain Falcon's moveset. Plus, there's a boxing ring as a stage. *hint hint*

... Blaziken is a Pokemon. The most overpower legal Pokemon there is. Seriously broken as all hell. Like the only way your team is good competitively is if you have a counter for Blaziken.
