01/30/2014 11:18 PM ·Spoilers
@durgggggg, I wasn't talking to you when I said "we were just doing what you said", you narcissistic ninny! (alliteration ;D)
01/30/2014 11:20 PM ·Spoilers
@durgggggggg i didn't i was confused by your statement that made no sense in the context
01/30/2014 11:20 PM ·Spoilers
@Kayin I so confused were that boxing glove came from so I hope that doesn't deconfirm little mac.
01/30/2014 11:20 PM ·Spoilers
@dalumu i apologize for being rude if you took offense to my comments. also im pretty sure you spelled "thought" wrong.
01/30/2014 11:21 PM ·Spoilers
Wait how does a character that got in has less potential that one that didn't got in? Anyways stop complaining and enjoy all the glorious Wii Fit trainer fanart.
01/30/2014 11:22 PM ·Spoilers
anyways, it is too late to complain, as sakurai has already green lighted the wii fit trainer
01/30/2014 11:23 PM ·Spoilers
It would be laughably easy to make a moveset for Mii! Up B: Spin up into the air. Side B: Baseball bat from Wii Sports. Down B: Golf club. Special B: Baseball. And regular moves would be punches, etc.
01/30/2014 11:24 PM ·Spoilers
@durggggggggggggg ill admit i missed steve but by the time you said that his comment was no longer recent and you didnt make any indication you were referring to him
01/30/2014 11:27 PM ·Spoilers
Also, just because Steve likes wii fit trainer, that doesn't mean that his comments are invalid. He presented some legitimate reasoning.
01/30/2014 11:28 PM ·Spoilers
@Emile: Dr. Mario was in Melee. Pichu was in Melee. Young Link was in Melee. They could have all been replaced by a better character with more potential, wouldn't you agree? And I meant before Brawl.
01/30/2014 11:29 PM ·Spoilers
Not really. Melee was done in only 9 months and they ran out of time. It was either 6 clones or one more characters. So they decided to make the clones.
01/30/2014 11:31 PM ·Spoilers
@Durgggghh oh yeah! Alliteration is already always alloted. I don't know if that really works, but whatever)
01/30/2014 11:31 PM ·Spoilers
emile is right. i can criticise the clones all i want, but the developers did run out of time.
01/30/2014 11:32 PM ·Spoilers
I meant if they took more time on the game, they could have come up with a much better roster. And that wasn't my point, my point was that just because a character's in, it doesn't mean they're good.
01/30/2014 11:32 PM ·Spoilers
i just thought that they would step it up in brawl, but instead we got slightly decloned clones, and a broken meta knight
01/30/2014 11:34 PM ·Spoilers
At least it wasn't as many clones as Melee. But you guys should know, Melee was my favorite Smash Bros, game.
01/30/2014 11:36 PM ·Spoilers
And just because you don't like the character it doesn't mean it's bad. Wii Fit Trainer deserves the spot. More than Rosalina if you ask me.
01/30/2014 11:37 PM ·Spoilers
melee is a great game, and the most competitive of all the smash games
01/30/2014 11:39 PM ·Spoilers
@durgggg & kayne you guys are complaining a lot for being fans of this series
01/30/2014 11:39 PM ·Spoilers
Again, as said in my original comment, explain to me how Wii Fit Trainer would be better than Rosalina, Little Mac, Bowser Junior, etc. And these characters definitely deserve a spot.
01/30/2014 11:41 PM ·Spoilers
@hunter we complain because we care. we want the games to move foward, not backwards.
01/30/2014 11:41 PM ·Spoilers
This is a debate, Hunter, not complaining. This originated from me making one small complaint. And stay out of this, please. I'd rather you not get caught up in this.
01/30/2014 11:41 PM ·Spoilers
Not better than Little Mac. But Wii Fit trainer is unexpected and it shows Sakurai creativity. Plus she is not a minor character from an already overepresented series *cough* Rosalina *cough*
01/30/2014 11:41 PM ·Spoilers
She's not better, Sakurai put her in to broaden the Smash Bros fanbase and to be creative with the roster, and to add characters to represent all parts of Nintendo's history,
01/30/2014 11:42 PM ·Spoilers
rosalina was a great addition. why you may ask? because she makes sense! r.o.b and the wii fit trainer are useless.
01/30/2014 11:44 PM ·Spoilers
@emile super mario galaxy was a great series. just check its ratings and reviews.
01/30/2014 11:44 PM ·Spoilers
I'll admit, Rosalina was kinda out of there, but expected. And Wademan, I understand that Sakurai was trying to be creative, I'm just saying that Wii Fit Trainer feels like an odd addition.
01/30/2014 11:45 PM ·Spoilers
And Bowser Junior and Little Mac would be much better than Wii Fit Trainer in my opinion.
01/30/2014 11:45 PM ·Spoilers
That's the point, Sakurai stated that he gets requests for Nintendo characters all around the world, and no one expected her, just like no one expected Pit in Brawl
01/30/2014 11:47 PM ·Spoilers
As I said before, the oddball character. (not said rudely) I'm on the Little Mac bandwagon, but I kind of disagree with Bowser jr.
01/30/2014 11:48 PM ·Spoilers
pit came from a franchise that people remember. same with ice climbers, and ness. they never had 3D representations, and when they did, they were great. now ness is a really popular character.
01/30/2014 11:49 PM ·Spoilers
But Pit was a classic game character, and made sense. What doesn't make sense is adding a trainer from a game designed for exercise to a fighting game. It just seems... weird!
01/30/2014 11:49 PM ·Spoilers
@kayin the thing about bowser junior is the mario franchise is already heavily over represented like [emile said] and the problem with little mac is creating a moveset
01/30/2014 11:50 PM ·Spoilers
@hunter i know he didn't, i just said that it was not an overpresented franchise at all
01/30/2014 11:52 PM ·Spoilers
@Durggggggg I know that Mario galaxy is great. But Rosalina only had a role in the first one.
01/30/2014 11:52 PM ·Spoilers
@druggg actually kid icarus was quite obscure before uprising was released a lot of people didnt know where pit was from
01/30/2014 11:53 PM ·Spoilers
Well, how would you react if Nintendo removed Mario from the game because nobody used him. Wouldn't you think ''Gee, that doesn't make sense at all!''
01/30/2014 11:53 PM ·Spoilers
little mac's moveset certainly seems easier to create than the wii fit trainer's. she is not even a fighter, and she's in a fighting game! little mac makes sense.
01/30/2014 11:53 PM ·Spoilers
@HUnter. Actually you can really creative with Little Mac moveset. Just look at all the other boxers from other fighting games.
01/30/2014 11:54 PM ·Spoilers
Adding a trainer from an exercise game makes as much sense as adding a racer.
01/30/2014 11:55 PM ·Spoilers
Pit didn't make all that much sense. He only had the 2 games, around 15 years old, and he wasn't really all that big a deal (again) until Smash.
01/30/2014 11:55 PM ·Spoilers
I think were still getting mac but at a different time maybe at e3.
01/30/2014 11:55 PM ·Spoilers
And besides, I'm pretty sure Wii Fit Trainer and Villager are the only two characters from non-fighting/adventure games. But villager is part of a kind of classic series, isn't he?
01/30/2014 11:56 PM ·Spoilers
@hunter you are correct. but like i said, they became popular when they were put into smash. did r.o.b become as popular when he was put into smash? no.
01/30/2014 11:57 PM ·Spoilers
@emile dont you dare begin to talk smack about the one and only captain falcon. lol
01/30/2014 11:58 PM ·Spoilers
Well if you count a game that started on the n64 then I guess so.
01/30/2014 11:58 PM ·Spoilers
im not saying you couldnt make moves for little mac but in ths smash bros series carachters have only used moves from their games little mac has only ever punched his opponents
01/30/2014 11:59 PM ·Spoilers
Is Bowser jr a fighter? Is villager a fighter? Is rosalina a fighter? Is R.O.B. a fighter? Is Captain Falcon a fighter? (Emile, your racer argument entirely destroyed right there)
01/31/2014 12:00 AM ·Spoilers
@Hunter Little mac could take abilities from what others in his game do like ness does
01/31/2014 12:01 AM ·Spoilers
@Emile: I forgot about Captain Falcon... but he's at least a good fighter. The Wii Fit Trainer uses exercises to fight. That isn't strange at all... *sarcasm implied here in case you didn't get it*
01/31/2014 12:03 AM ·Spoilers
@Hunter: I was talking about the ''mario'' example, about how if Nintendo removed him, it would be weird.
01/31/2014 12:03 AM ·Spoilers
@kleo but those wouldnt really make sense i mean sure lucas did that making it a possiblility but those were iconic moves used by other playable characters
01/31/2014 12:04 AM ·Spoilers
@dalumu captain falcon is actually a fighter, because he is bounty hunter. but i do understand your point
01/31/2014 12:05 AM ·Spoilers
@kayin oh okay i know it was an example i was just saying that specifically is why
01/31/2014 12:06 AM ·Spoilers
@Dalumu: I personally think Bowser Junior would be an excellent fighter in the roster. He could have a moveset based around the magic paintbrush, and he could transform into Shadow Mario.
01/31/2014 12:06 AM ·Spoilers
And Captain Falcon's moves didn't exist prior to Smash, yet no one is bothered by it, because he's amazing. Also, is dr. mario a fighter?
01/31/2014 12:08 AM ·Spoilers
@durgggg Wii fit trainer fights fat and unburned calories. (two can play at that game) ;)
01/31/2014 12:09 AM ·Spoilers
@hunter but stealing them does not make a difference whether they are iconic or not
01/31/2014 12:09 AM ·Spoilers
Little Mac is long overdue for Smash, and he wouldn't need projectiles in his moveset. It could be similar to that of Captain Falcon's moveset. Plus, there's a boxing ring as a stage. *hint hint*
01/31/2014 12:11 AM ·Spoilers
Hey guys I had a crazy idea. Now hear me out it might be a little unorthodox. But maybe Little Mac could use boxing moves.
01/31/2014 12:12 AM ·Spoilers
@kayin im not saing he needs projectiles im saying he dosent have the moves for a full move set
01/31/2014 12:13 AM ·Spoilers
That's what I meant when I said his moveset could be similar to Captain Falcon's
01/31/2014 12:13 AM ·Spoilers
@kayin, I'm still not convinced on Bowser jr., but I wholeheartedly agree on the hole hopefull little mac hops happily (;D) g'night y'all, I'll continue in the morning.
01/31/2014 12:18 AM ·Spoilers
... Blaziken is a Pokemon. The most overpower legal Pokemon there is. Seriously broken as all hell. Like the only way your team is good competitively is if you have a counter for Blaziken.
