    @Simon Nintendo isn't about to let anything become irrelavent. Not everyone can afford fancy new wii u pro controllers. so wii classic is a cheaper alternative for those who want to use a controller.

    It's just a cheap old controller not a lot of people like.. And its not like you'll be left without a control method, you have Wii remotes and the gamepad so it's not like you'll be forced to buy new

    controllers. Theres just not a lot of reason to keep supporting classic controller, it was really only needed for the Wii.
