    Yeah, I actually remember it also being the first gyarados I found too. I thought something was wrong with my game when I saw it, because I didn't know what shiny pokemon were lol.

    I guess TECHNICALLY this was my 1st shiny. But its a set encounter, to me it doesn't count. To this day, my 1st shiny was, and always will be Jigglypuff in LeafGreen.
