I'm glad Waluigi is an Assist Trophy. He is not that important to the core Mario series so there is no reason to make him a playable character in SSB.

    If you take him out of Mario completley nothing would happen, not to mention he wasn't even created by Nintendo.

    Exactly. He is not important at all. To the point of not appearing in a single core Mario game. He is a spin-off stuffing.

    Plus, the only potential he has for moves are sports and party games which I am sure those moves will be covered by the Mii.

    Waluigi is just all around a pointless character IMO. Wario made sense in away but I never got Waluigi's creation or popularity.
