  • Many people have been trying to give feedback to Nintendo for a very long time. What many have learned over the years is that Nintendo does what it wants regardless of what any of us say or do.

    Yeahs0
  • Wrong. There is OperationRainfall, Earthbound and ect. Miiverse/petitions has/have proven that with enough demand, fans might get what they want from Nintendo.

    Yeahs0
  • If you still think it's pointless (you might be right on that), it can't really hurt to (try and) ask Nintendo for something and ask that someone else do the same (doesn't take much time anyway).

    Yeahs0
  • And no. Fans shouldn't have to ask, but that's not my point.

    Yeahs0
  • Wrong: OperationRainfall did nothing, Nintendo of American purposefully delayed those games so that there would be actual major releases for Wii during 2012 and to artificially generate interest in...

    Yeahs0
  • ...those games. Nintendo played you. Earthbound has been asked for by fans for MANY, MANY years prior to Wii U and Miiverse. The only reason it was released now is because all they had to do was grab

    Yeahs0
  • ...the NA version of the game and dump the data in the EU/AU eShop and bumped up the price so we'd be mindlessly pay for a more expensive version of the game. They played us again. Miiverse has done

    Yeahs0
  • ...nothing but let Nintendo play you like fools and they're really good at doing it and leaving fans on Miiverse feel like they've won some kind of victory when in reality, nope.

    Yeahs0
  • I noticed that you keep trying to paint me as some kind of Nintendo fanboy who got "played", you should probably stop because I'm the furthest thing from that group. Post 'END' when you're finished.

    Yeahs0
  • I never said you were played specifically or that I'm picking on you, rather, WE got played. You, me and everyone else.

    Yeahs0
  • Your point about OPRainfall would make more sense if there was some proof backing it, it just look like a coincidence without any evidence. Do you know how many things have been asked of Nintendo way-

    Yeahs0
  • Post when I post 'END' or we'll end up responding to parts of our posts and some points will get left out.

    Yeahs0
  • No, I think I've said enough, don't really have a need to post anything more. Plus, there's no evidence to give Operation Rainfall any credit for the release of those games other than a lot of people

    Yeahs0
  • ...patting themselves on the back. But I think I'm personally tired of having to pander to Nintendo about things that should just be simple things that we should be getting without asking for it.

    Yeahs0
  • [continuing]- back when? You mean to say that it was a coincidence that all of those people suddenly asked for it and got it when they asked? Unlikely.

    Yeahs0
  • And if Nintendo is too busy to actually work pro-actively to earn their money, then *shrugs* I'm not going to waste my time on trying to get them to listen to me, I have uni, I have work. When it...

    Yeahs0
  • ...it comes to gaming, I shouldn't be putting in all the work, this is a hobby, not a part time charity thing I'm volunteering for. Anyway... END, I guess. I'll leave your thread alone now.

    Yeahs0
  • ok nvm... 1) I don't feel picked on. 2) Don't get it confused, I'm not defending the fact that fans have to asked Nintendo for things that should come standard (or Nintendo for that matter).

    Yeahs0
  • Are you kidding? It takes literally no time at all to make a request and ask that it be chained like once a week.

    Yeahs0
  • Plus, some of the updates on Miiverse are things fans requested. END

    Yeahs0
