    Yes but we was planed to be a playable character, Sakuri found it being really hard to make and it was taking time so we got Jigglepuff instead of Meowth

    Also, for as far as the poison goes, I mean that if you support these characters and want them to be playable, you'll end up getting quite a bit of backlash for doing so.

    Waddle is right. Also Mewtwo was also planned for the first Super Smash Bros but didn't make it in but was made it in Melee. I would love to see Meowth in Smash because he would be very unique
