    I like him because he is the most real character. In my opinion he has the most thoughtout story in the series. He has a nice background story, he has emotion, and you can relate to how he feels.

    Also, he doesn't just pop out of the future or anything(Silver). He's his own unique character. He also can relate to us in the real world, confused trying to find out who he is and what his pupose is

    Most thought out? I'm sorry, but 80% of his back story was pulled out of nowhere, they had none of the alien stuff planed before SA2, because he was supposed to die. The alien stuff is absolutely...

    ridiculous, and the "wanting to know what his purpose" thing got extremely annoying, especially when at the end of SA2, he was supposed to put everything behind him.
