That's interesting. From BSN, seems like the popular build is 6/6/6/5/3.

I've never played it yet, so I have no idea. I've seen several posts use the exact same build spec. What's the deal with Hunter Mode?

hunter mode half's you sheilds but lets you see through smoke and walls

so you may want to use it but only temporary to get an idea on where the enemys are after all the geths health is really small

Interesting. I'll think about that. I'm wondering if geth turret is supposed to offset the loss of shield. On Geth Turret, should I go armor damage or restore radius?

armor damage the best use is deploy it above a fallen team mate revive them and they get sheilds back faster

I've seen people do what is called a medi turret where they go pure sheild restore but I prefer half and half

I think I may spec for armor damage and flamethrower since it's always important to damage the armor of enemies.

yeah the flame thrower is better than the quarians drone for some reason it reacts faster

I may put a few points on hunter just to see it. Maybe 2 points. Damage/Capacity seems handy. Then, I'll bring my Geth shotgun.

hunter mode doesn't half your shields, it halves your initial shields, so really you are only losing a few hundred points which you can get back with gear or cyclonic

hunter mode is amazing but it takes some getting used to...i find i dont really die that much with it compared to other builds, if anything it helps me not die since i always know where enemies are

fwiw, i have mine spec'ed out 66464, but the 53 builds work good too since you get more damage output, just realize you are a glass cannon and make sure to be close to your teammates so they can help

That's interesting thought. So hunter operates like Nova where it just eats your initial shield which you may get back in time?

the last little tip is that its tempting to always have the turret next to enemies so you can flame them, but if you get in a tight spot, keeping it close to you means you get shields back every few..

...seconds. also helps to throw it down in front of a teammate as you revive them, that way they get half their shields back as soon as they stand up

Thanks Dad-E! Lots of food for thought there! It seems I may need to rethink a little!
