    When you get a party full of eggs ( 5 ), go to Lumious's tower area. Stick a penny into your control pad and your character will be bycling without you needing to move it.

    You can check up on the eggs. When i was shiny farming i would use that method and keep an eye on the ds while doing something else so i'm not wasting too much precious time.
