New Player, help! Pokebank gave me a Modest Celebi 23/28/29/28/28 that can take a hit. Try to explain if you must but please advise on base leveling and moves.

    If you are just doing the campaign stat training doesn't matter, but generally if you were wanting to train it you would give a definite Sp attack boost. Possibly a HP boost as well.

    IV's are the base. You catch a pokemon and it will generally have only 1 iv. Events are different.

    yep, i still lost. should i just level it...or train it then level it? If i train it should i only use Large bags? What stats should it have....

    Evs are Effort values. Your pokemon gains an even spread as they level up. You put all the EV points you want into specific stats with Super training and Items like Iron or Carbos.

    So modest gives it extra special attack...is that any non physical attack? Does is count to support abbilities as well? What would you do with this thing[besides banking it]

    You can only put a certain number of points into each stat (252 I think). This gives you 2 stats to max out, and 4 points left over which is not enough for an EV but is still there.

    Celibii can be used as a Baton passer, but if you are just doing the campaign, it is fine as a pokemon.

    I think Celibii also has Serene Grace, which works well with ancient power. Otherwise it has natural cure which is also good.

    i think feild leveling will not effect my base stats. will feild leveling with lower base stats effect final stats? Thinking of feild leveling enough to balon train Lv 3 with double up bags. sound ok?
