    Raw defense is all that will help with them. Poison or ice weapons for offense work well.

    Neither of them use elements. And really, don't worry about resistances too much, they don't make that much of a difference. Focus on skills, then on raw defense.

    even monsters with an element hardly have more than 3 attacks that do element damage. everything is bites,tail whips and charge. theyr fairly negligible. though can mean OHKO when you do get hit.
