    Lets say for some unrealistic chance that Ridley is not in then who would be the 2nd metroid rep? there is no one else more famous and recognizable then him (other than samus).

    Ridley is a HEAVILY requested character, and yes heavily requested characters do get into Smash "Little Mac, Mega Man etc" Ridley is the most likely 2nd Metroid rep, yes we do have Adam, Sylux

    Oh let's see, popular fanbase, most recognizable Metroid villain (more games than Mother Brain for sure), numerous games to pull a unique moveset from, easily bring something new to the series.
