We know Nintendo had the best content this year at E3 2014, and I'm not surprised they developed a 'real open world' Zelda U environment (this was bound to happen eventually) nor am I shocked to see Ninty returning to Starfox (they've learned they'll need more than their few most popular IPs to pull them through), HOWEVER I am a bit annoyed they didn't focus much on their "lesser" IPs like:

Hello, is this pet corner? We have a dog and three cats. Our oldest cat is a "rescue" cat. A few years later we got two kittens (sisters) as soon as they were old enough to leave mum. A couple of years after that we got our dog (nearly 1yr old), a Labrador who was smaller than the kittens and then towered above them a couple of months later.

Back to Miiverse, I'm glad they've just trimmed down on all those "Yeahs" in the latest update, I was beginning to think no-one commented any more, only clicked yeah!

Well for me I have transitioned from posting a bunch of stuff via my profile (in June 2013 my profile posts-per-month set the record at 56) and have changed to being someone who 'yeahs' a whole lot, conversing instead through others' topics. I seem to like that more: being able to have a smallish easy-to-navigate profile with different kinds of topics (still working on other ideas).

It is currently 3am (3:00 hours) on a Saturday. Normally when I'm awake on mornings like today I'm simply suffering from my usual insomnia, but not today. This day is the last day my brother William will be with our family before he picks up and ships out to boot camp. So we've been chatting quietly on the couch in the living room up until a few minures ago. Times like this make me feel old.
