wait is it true that mario kart 8 will ONLY be for Wii U. Because I only have a 3ds not a Wii U and its a lot of work, time, and money to keeptrack of both systems. And if so the game should be 4 both systems. Let Nintendo fix this pet peeve

I skipped mk7 and I was totally fine with it lol :p The mk franchise doesnt have any story behind it so it would really matter if you skipped one, its not like theres a story you need to keep following and understand. I skipped mk snes and super circuit also. Im not complaining :p

These arent opinions.. yours is. we're stating the truth, mk8 wouldnt be a good idea to remake for the 3ds and nintendo WOULD lose money. Plus people if that did happen most people wouldnt buy the 3ds version they would buy the wii u version. Kind of like smash bros 4, all the hype is for the wii u version, not the 3ds.

Thats why the smash bros for 3ds is coming out first. Nintendo knows if they came out at the same time people would just buy the wii u version. This way, people will buy the 3ds version and when the wii u version comes out, they'll buy that one too. so they'll make more money. or else they would have just waited to release both at the same time

i see what yoour saying. Since wii u is a new Nintendo product and is more popular the consumers would want that version. And since 3ds is kind of less popular they would loose money because consumer might find it less interested. Something of that sort

No, 3ds is actually more popular, more people have 3ds's than wii u's. what im saying is, since the wii u is more powerful and has pretty graphics, people will want the wii u version instead. Think about it, if you have a wii u and a 3ds, and a game was coming out for both, (like smash bros 4) and both versions came out at the same time, which would you rather have? I know id get the wii u version

and no specific release dates yet, all we know according to the smash bros direct is 3ds version comes out in summer 2014, and wii u version in winter 2014. hopefully they'll give more specific release dates at e3. Hopefully at least the month
