This E3 has shown me that i am deeply offended by the lack of creativity and truly digusted with the video game industry. What happened? Even Suda51 is giving us gritty realistic games now. where is that quirk art he's known for? where the lemon heck are all the japanese developers. why did i spend all of today cursing out sony and microsoft? what went wrong? what happened to gaming?

    Japanese game development has been on a sharp decline since 2000 or so. I blame Microsoft getting in on the business and helping push the trend towards grimdark, violent, gunfests. Which western gamers love.

    really, i mean even sunset overdrive, which i loved was full of guns and explosions. is that all they can think of? sony where was my sly cooper, my kindom hearts, my final fantasy, my jak and daxter, shadow of the collosus 2? microsoft where was my kameo 2, jade empire 2, panzer dragoon, and conker? why must everyone make realistic environments and boring character design?

    i play games to escape reality and have fun, not to be in dang military wars over and over and post apacolyptic worlds over and over that all look the dang same. heck somebody give me a talking freaking animal.
