  • It's a noble cause. Someone has to fight the good fight for the Wii U. Nintendo doesn't seem interested in doing it lol.

  • They need 3rd parties more than they are willing to admit. If they had all the multi-plat titles that Sony and Microsoft had, in addition to their first party exclusives, they would destroy the competition.

  • people buy nintendo consoles for their first party games. proven fact. nintendo is also very, very strict with what games it chooses to license. fact. i meant no disrespect, just being realistic here.

  • very strict, not at all, they take a look at every game, then ok it, that explains the game the .letter.

  • If Nintendo had less of an isolationist mentality, and were more inviting to 3rd parties, they would broaden their appeal dramatically. They excel at satisfying the already initiated, but do very little to grow their install-base. Not everyone wants colorful and family friendly Mario and Zelda titles. They could tap into the adult market, by offering more M rated titles. Give us variety Nintendo.

  • i think ninty's issue is they dont like licensing games that rely so heavily on dlc, like cod.

  • If they would bring the new Fatal Frame stateside, i would be excited beyond words. Zombiu is great too, and i would like to see a more dedicated effort to bring more mature games to the system. I can understand why Nintendo would shy away from the dlc model, as it is often used as a means to exploit consumers.
