  Finished Thessia. Lots of good nuggets like Conrad Verner and the surprise use of the Matriarch Writings in ME1. Geth fighter squadron quest had extra bits of Shepard in Cerberus gear shaking Legion's hand was a surprise (Or maybe I forgot in the previous playthrough). Wrex and Eve honoring Shepard for curing the genophage was something NEW. Totally changes the hostile tone of the quest!

  Lots of extra dialog to tie in ME1 and ME2 characters. Genesis 2 doesn't add these lines. It's a good bonus reward for players of the first two games. I would say though that it isn't necessary to enjoy ME3. ME3 on Wii U remains my favourite edition of the game.

  I'm still on ME2. I'm about to hit the Reaper IFF (aka. ME2's "point of no return"). I downloaded the Arrival DLC and I'll play it after the Suicide Mission. I also got the Leviathan DLC for ME3. I'll try to sit down tomorrow and get through the IFF and Legion's loyalty mission.

  I powered through ME2 in about 2 days of nonstop playing. Started with Horizon all the way to Suicide Mission. :D Good catch on the DLCs, BTW! Leviathan is probably the most significant plot-related DLC. Arrival also in ME2!

  I honestly sat down a few days ago and went through majority of the recruitment and loyalty missions. That's all I did that day lol. I've just been sidequesting since then. I have tomorrow off, so if I wanted to I could probably finish ME2 tomorrow. I haven't played either DLC before, so I look forward to it. ME2 is probably one of my favourite games of all time. So much fun.

  ME2 to me seems to be the most polished of the three games. I tend to like ME3's plot more but ME2 is like a great compromise between ME1's RPG and ME3's third person shooter. :D Awesome that those pesky loyalty missions are out of the way! Those really felt like a drag to go through for some reason.
