Impressions

This game shoulda had an online skill/hardcore mode for racing whereas you only get mushrooms as your only item... Or even better, NO ITEMS AT ALL. Getting thwacked constantly with items when I'm in 1st place on the last lap then coming in 8th place within 3.5 seconds isn't exactly my idea of fun. Hopefully this is something that will be implemented in the next installent of the Mario Kart series.
