    I'm nearing the 3 hour mark in total playtime. I'm familiar with the game thanks to playing it on the Wii Virtual Console (I upgraded to the Wii U VC version for a buck). Anyways the size of the world map -- while it may not be impressive now, it's pretty impressive by NES standards especially since the developers didn't resort to copy and paste environments.
