    Hmm. Was your animal crossing game a digital download? Maybe your sd card freaked and deleted itself. It can happen and you can restore it. But, only the pictures are foolproof and can't be deleted. Game data MAYBE can be restored. You just use a computer and take whatevers left onto the computer and click the restore button when you open it up.

    thing is i never stopped playing i just fell asleep with ACNL still on but my 3ds closed when i woke up the next morning my town was gone..
