    It's only for games with motion controls, though Link could easily be thought as ambidextrous.

    So far most Links are lefthand except for two- The Goddesses Hero (SS) is right handed and the Legendary Hero (ALttP/OoS/OoA/LA) is ambidextrous.

    @Hero, if it doesn't matter then why don't they make him left handed? No one prefers right handed Link but many people prefer left handed.

    Right handed Links is fine with me. So are left handed and ambidextrous Links. Ether way, Links handedness doesn't matter.

    They could have still made him left handed in the motion control games. People could still swing with their right hand with the same results.

    While it doesn't really matter (I held the remote in my left hand regardless), a left-handed option in SS would have been nice. They could have just had two character models - left or right. It wouldn't have been much different than having a female character model and a male character model. I don't think it would have made much difference combat-wise.

    @Michael: How could it have been the same result? If I hold the Wii Remote in my right hand, and swing it out to the right, then Link would swing it out to the left! It would feel completely wrong. What's the point of 1:1 motion control if your actions on screen don't mirror your actions in real life?
