Some day, I would like to see a Pokemon game with battles that play out similar to how they do in the anime in real time, like how they do in pokepark 2, but a bit more complex. The 4 attacks could be assigned to a, b, x and y, dodging mapped to L and jumping mapped to R. Also like the anime, u would see wild Pokemon as u traverse the overworld and when u get into a battle with one, it doesn't

    shift to a battle scene, u fight it right there on the overworld. A barrier would be put in place of course to keep the battle confined to a relatively small area. Pp would be nonexistent but for moves like Draco meteor and hyper beam, there would a large cool down time. For gym leader battles, the arenas would be like how they r in the anime.

    That would be epic. I'd imagine you'd play as Ash, starting with only your Pikachu. You meet friends along the way like in the anime, and they sometimes split up so that the story shifts between each person's perspective. The main villains could obviously be Team Rocket.

    Oh, one thing I forgot to mention: potions, HMs, TMs, and held items would still play a role in the game. For potions, at least, I imagine a button on the gamepad (as this would work would best as a wii u game), that would instantly launch a potion at whatever pokemon was in battle, and u could call them back instantly with a different button.
