On the Japanese release date of the 3DS version, should I spoil some characters to myself or wait of the U.S. release?

I think all of the characters will be revealed before the Japanese release date.

I live in Tokyo, but I'm still going to do my best to wait. Miiverse makes that difficult though...

I remember when I was surprised when I first unlocked the characters in Melee and Brawl cause some of the characters were really cool such as R.O.B and Sonic. I don't think I should spoil them and I think Sakurai probably will show all characters before the Japanese release date.

Yes... NTSC-U WiiUs won't let you set your region to anything outside of the one you bought the console in.
