    If they're anything like Lucina, they were added because they were originally made as alts, but then the Smash Team decided to upgrade them. Adding them would be so easy that it wouldn't really take up any roster space.

    To be fair, Doc would work best as an alt. costume, but Pittoo is MUCH different from Pit. Just play Kid Icarus: Uprising, and you'll see what I mean.

    Actually, in Melee Dr. Mario is better than Mario, he does have some pretty unique properties that should have been explored since Melee.
