Question

Ok, so how is the Master Sword in a different place in every game? The temple of time, the sacred meadow, the lost woods, the other sacred meadow, locking monsters in a chest, etc.

    Ensuring that the King of Evil can't escape his prison seems more important than preserving the temple the gate resides in. Besides, the barrier holding back the water was only large enough to protect the castle. As for the sword not being able to be drawn, I think it lost that resistance when it lost the rest of its power. It became just a regular sword (temporarily).

    But destroying the temple would mean destroying the prison! It would allow him to escape!

    No....? Why would the gate to the Sacred Realm be so fragile that destroying the temple would destroy it was well? It simple sealed off the Sacred Realm from Hyrule, preventing anyone from entering it. Or exiting it.

    levi, fi lived in the sword, not the gate. so, as long as the sword survived, she did as well. and the god in ss created the sword, i remember now. i forget her name. but just because it was forged for someone, DOESN'T mean she couldn't hold it. it just means she couldn't use the power.

    In the Child Timeline, Link warns Zelda about Ganondorf's attempt to take over Hyrule, the sages try to execute Ganon and end up sealing him in the Realm of Twilight. When the events of Wind Waker happen, Ganon has already escaped his seal at the end of OoT.

    the destruction the moving the rebuilding wouldn't it just be easyer to just keep things as they were?

    Most likely because the royal family knew that the hero would eventually return and moving the sword was the only way to ensure that it would be there for the next Hero.

    not really. lets loom at oot to alttp. where it sat in oot, it was very much open for an attack from all angles. but in alttp, they cut it off from everything except one entry point. so, it made it harder for an attack. you see? as time passes, people learn. and they realized that from a strategic point of view, where it was in oot, wasn't smart. so, they moved it.

    What makes you think the next hero would instinctively know where the Master sword is? Link isn't born with some massive prophecy hanging over his head that he tries to follow, he just set out on a journey and things unfold as he goes. The king of red lions knew where the master sword's new location was and led him to it.

    no. because as time passes, the knowledge passes too. so, people would know. and when the next hero wakes, he'll know where it is, and how to get it.
