    Individual values. They're sort of like EV'S (Effort values) except you can't train them. But you can breed for them. Don't ask me how to calculate what IV's a Pokemon has though as I have little clue.

    iv's stand for individual values and they are separate from ev's and normal stats. As you might guys from their name they are individually determined from one another, meaning how one is made doesn't affect the other. IV's come in 6 categories: HP, atk, def, sp.atk, sp.def, speed, and range from 0-31 (31 being perfect/the best). All IV's are randomly determined upon creation tbc...

    (unless bred a certain way) and cannot be changed. Next I will go over how to identify IV's. You cannot visually see IV's, even on the summary. There are only 2 ways to do so: 1. calculate it based off of normal stats, EV's, lvl, and nature (online calculators help a ton) 2. kiloude pokecenter IV judge. When you talk to the IV judge he'll first say your pokemon is(fantastic, outstanding, etc.)tbc

    overall.Next,he'll list 1-6 IV categories (you'll want to count them),these are the best IV's your pokemon has.Finally,he'll say your pokemon has (good, fantastic, etc) stats,HOWEVER,if he says they "can't be beat" then the listed IV categories are a perfect 31.when someone has a 6iv pokemon it means he listed all 6 categories and then said they can't be beat.Do you want to know how to IV breed?
