Anyone know how to transfer data from a smaller SD card to a bigger one? (No yeahs plz,just answers.)

  • hm, isn't there a application of it in the e-store? if not then there is no way. You'll just have to switch between the sd cards to play different games.

  • I use a computer. Turn off 3DS. Put SD card in computer. Copy all files (including hidden ones) to a temp directory. Put in new (freshly formatted/just bought) SD card to computer. Copy all files from temp dir to new card, make sure dir structure is the same. Put it back to 3DS. I have 16GB SD on my 3DS. :)

  • Harry's right. If you have a laptop it will be easy. don't forget to save the original sd card! If the new on corups, then you still have something to fall back on. (if you have already done this then oops) Drew has a 32 gb sd card and Ross has a 16 gb card just a fun fact!
