Do you keep a journal? If not, start now. You're not supposed to be able to do this in one day, or even one week. As long as there's continuous improvement, you should be fine. That said, I have a spoiler.

1. Use long torps. Hit long. 2. Don't pick up boxes 3. Run surface as much as possible. Don't dive to avoid bombs. Veer. 4. Hit target systematically. Look at my path. It's counter-clockwise all the way through. No waste in movement. You need to improve your skill so you can hit accurately, and not sink enroute. It takes practice. Give it a few weeks and keep record of your progress.
