    You can take a break, but you can't exit the game. You can even play single player missions, Friend Battles, Local play, and go on MV and your streak will remain. But once you exit out of the game itself it'll break.

    @ klim plz don't call it impresive, I can't take credit for it. I let a kid at church borrow my 2ds, and he deleted my save. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't wanna spend forever reaching the level I was at again, so I used my second 3ds for fast levels.(I know boosting is frowned upon, but atleast I'm not hiding it.)
