    Even though many people consider him underrated because how the stats are develop, and not great abilities. He's still a awesome pokemon...perhaps gamefreak will give him/her a gun-style ability some day.

    Yeah especially he can use Thunderbolt! Just like the same reaction Emboar's scald that is very unique for fire pokemon to learn.

    Oh man that's flipping awesome! I didn't know he could learn Thunderbolt, thank you for telling me that piece of info. Now I seriously don't understand the unpopularity, maybe its his design? He doesn't look that bad though.

    Nah its the battle style which does the most talking, and he/she has only I think 65 base defense plus flame body is physical contact ability the other is sleep immune insomnia..., and the move earthquake is common as heck in battles.

    Lol yeah I can see how that would pose a big problem, I guess you could try a out speed them or quick claw your way to victory but those things are so unreliable.

    Yeah then theres the other faster fire-types like Arcanine, Charizard X/Y, Infenape, Blaziken, and Volcarona. That such just cripples Magmortar, and makes the gaining to get him feels useless unlike Electivire.

    Well I'm still going to use him, when I get one at least. Being a casual trainer has its perks, my win count is at most an after thought, so its time to get risky! ;)
